RSVP

How do I RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?

Once invites are sent out, you’ll be able to RSVP by clicking the tab above. Please make sure to RSVP by August 15—if we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you won’t be able to make it.

Can I bring a guest/date?

We’re keeping our celebration intimate and are only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Are kids allowed?

While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We truly appreciate you making arrangements in advance and joining us for a night of fun!

Dress Code

What is the dress code?

We’d love to see our amazing family and friends dressed to the nines for our big day! Think formal attire—dress to impress. For the ladies: knee-length, midi, or floor-length dresses are perfect. For the guys: a suit and tie is suggested.

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask the ladies to refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream color attire.

Ceremony and Reception

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 to allow ample time to be seated and settled before the start.

Am I allowed to take photos?

We kindly request that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony. Our photographer will be capturing every special moment, and we’d love to keep the view free of screens in our photos.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The reception will also be held outside, under a tent.

Will there be an open bar?

Yep—we’ll have an open bar with beer, wine, and cocktails, so come thirsty and ready to celebrate!

Will there be an after party?

Yes, everyone’s invited to join us at Protocol after the reception! It’s just a 6-minute walk down the road. Just a heads-up—the shuttle won’t be going to the after party, so if you’re not staying at the Inn on Boltwood or nearby, we recommend grabbing an Uber or Lyft to get back to your hotel.

Accomodation

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at the Inn on Boltwood, where both the ceremony and reception will be held. We also have a block at Hotel UMass, along with discounted rates at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham and Comfort Inn & Suites. All of these hotels will offer shuttle service to and from the Inn for the ceremony and reception. For full details, please check out the Accommodations page.

Transportation

Will transportation be provided?

We’ll have a shuttle available for guests staying at the hotels listed on our Accommodations page. Pick-up and drop-off times and the shuttle route will be shared on the Shuttle Info page as we get closer to the big day. Please note: the shuttle won’t be running to the after party at Protocol, so if you plan to join us there, be sure to arrange your own ride back to your hotel.

Where can I park?

On-site parking is available behind the Inn, marked as 'Guest Parking.' Additional parking can be found at the Amherst College Alumni lot—both options are free and do not require a permit. If you’re staying at one of the hotels listed on our Accommodations page, we encourage you to use the shuttle. And if you plan on drinking, please consider taking an Uber or Lyft to get home safely.
